SPECT SYSTEMS CONSULTATION - For Psychiatrists, Neurologists and Nuclear Med Physicians

• CorePsych provides a Consultation Service to set up your own Gamma Camera and SPECT Evaluation facility.
• With Amen on PBS we see increasing opportunities downstream for other practitioners to have their own cameras and provide their own highly individualized treatment protocols based upon not only brain evidence, but evidence from brain and body interactions, including neuroimmune dysfunction. It's time for others to add their observations to the database.
• My consultation practice is based upon teamwork, no vertical management, and developing an actively interacting team of interested referral sources. My unremitting focus is team development.
• At the Amen DC office I set it up, supervised the hiring of all employees, managed it, and, with our DC team often came close to the Newport Beach numbers. Yes, Amen does a great job marketing and teaching as the world thought leader with SPECT, and with his help and our teamwork, that office was very busy.
  
• At Amen Clinics I also set up and hosted the first regular monthly clinical/virtual In-House Virtual Training Meetings with all clinicians in his various clinics around the country. At that Clinical Rounds Meeting each of us presented cases and encouraged overview discussions with Dr Amen.
• A sideline objective for any consultation work is to collect brain data from a number of facilities and provide a means for individuals to mine that data [in the context of HIPPA guidelines] - and thereby further the elaboration of this interesting brain science.
• Our success then and now is based upon these additional factors: using more evidence than a scan reading, good customer service, long term care, highly customized reports, specific treatment recommendations, full awareness and multiple levels of other metabolic interventions, and adding additional FDA and CLIA approved laboratory measurements as indicated.
• Our Installation Team will provide specific directions for setting up a Hot Lab, Installing your Gamma Camera, reading SPECT images, Hiring a Nuclear Technologist, working with patients in the office for both long and short term "scan only" consults.
• Gamma Cameras are managed and sold by Eclipse Systems. They have very reasonable rates for cameras, and are not affiliated with me economically. • Eclipse gamma camera technicians are the same one's used by all the offices in the Amen Clinics. They provide installation and services all over the US and regularly consult overseas - with experience in Europe and Japan.                              
• We help with the process of adding additional provider services for complex treatment issues.
• We highly recommend attending any of the Training Conferences on SPECT imaging with Daniel Amen to get started.
• I provide the long term support and training need to actually make your facility successful on many levels - it takes about 2 years of active SPECT reading and review to feel fully comfortable with the process.
• We use Amen's SPECT Teaching Materials with his permission, and bring added value by bringing additional evidence to the search for brain understanding.
